Blue House is close to a broad selection of takeaway options, pizzerias, sushi and other everyday food choices. Within walking or cycling distance, there is also a good choice of restaurants and bars along Amagerbrogade.

RA – Restaurant Amager serves modern food in relaxed surroundings. Den Kinesiske Mur is a popular buffet restaurant with Chinese dishes, sushi and barbecue. Hop House is a contemporary craft-beer bar with a large beer selection, cocktails and a lively local atmosphere.

Marina & Waterfront

Kastrup Marina includes boat berths, sailing clubs, restaurants and direct access to the Øresund coast. It can be reached easily by bicycle and offers useful facilities for boat owners at attractive municipal rates.

Bus 5C

The 5C bus stops close to Blue House and provides direct connections to Copenhagen Airport, Copenhagen Central Station, City Hall Square and Nørreport. It is a practical alternative when the bicycle is not being used.

Easy Metro Connection

Bus 5C provides a direct connection from Blue House to Amagerbro Station. From there, the Metro gives fast access to central Copenhagen and the wider Metro network.

Sweden via the Øresund Bridge

Sweden is easily reached from Blue House via the Øresund Bridge. Bus 5C provides a direct connection to Copenhagen Airport, where frequent trains continue across the bridge to Malmö Central Station. This makes Malmö and southern Sweden practical destinations for work, shopping, dining or a day trip.

Copenhagen by Bicycle

Central Copenhagen is within comfortable cycling distance of Blue House. The route provides access to workplaces, shops, restaurants, cultural attractions and waterfront areas without relying on a car.

Tårnby Health & Sports Facilities

The area around Tårnby Town Hall includes the health centre, fitness facilities, swimming pool, ice rink and organised sports. The facilities are grouped within a compact area and can be reached easily by bicycle.

Schools & Education

Tårnby Gymnasium & HF provides upper-secondary education within easy cycling distance. Korsvejens School is one of the nearby municipal primary and lower-secondary schools serving the local area.

Field’s Shopping Centre

Field’s is Denmark’s largest shopping centre, with more than 140 shops, restaurants and cafés. It is within convenient cycling distance and combines shopping, dining, services and entertainment.

Royal Arena

Royal Arena hosts international concerts, sporting events and live entertainment throughout the year. Its Ørestad location is easily reached by bicycle from Blue House.

Old Town, Harbour & Coastal Route

The bicycle route to Dragør follows the Øresund coast east of Copenhagen Airport. It is a particularly scenic ride, with open views across the water and close views of aircraft taking off and landing.

Dragør has a distinctive and exceptionally well-preserved old town with narrow cobbled streets and traditional yellow houses. The historic harbour, Dragør Fort and waterfront restaurants make it a good destination for fresh fish and a maritime atmosphere.
